Annie McDonald is an interior designer and interior & prop stylist with an eclectic, modern vintage aesthetic.

From conceptual ideas to finishing touches, Annie never loses sight of what’s important: creating gorgeous, inspired and meaningful personal spaces.

“This Is Perfect” reflects her idea that in design (as in life) every detail matters. With Annie, no corner or colour is left unconsidered. She is able to bring together beautiful and sometimes overlooked elements to fully realize the potential of any room.

Annie warehouses a range of furnishings and home accessories of various pedigrees that she is able to access when developing a new space. She has built outstanding relationships with many Toronto and North American dealers, and is able to source a broad range of furnishings at a variety of price points.

Her work has appeared in the Globe and Mail, Toronto Life, Chatelaine magazine, HGTV, the Marion House Book, Covet Garden, and Houzz. She has a great working relationship with a number of local designers and photographers and regularly collaborates with Jenn Hannotte, Emma Reddington, Kristin Sjaarda and Derek Shapton, among others.

Annie’s formidable collection of clogs is featured in the acclaimed 2014 book “Women In Clothes” by Sheila Heti, Heidi Julavits and Leanne Shapton.

By popular demand, she is now releasing a limited run of her hand-crafted hair oil, available at Ardith and through Horses Atelier.

Annie lives in Toronto’s west end with her husband and two children.
